Are We Homo Erectus?

OUT-OF-AFRICA HYPOTHESIS

This hypothesis assumes that there was a recent common ancestral population of Homo sapiens that evolved from Homo erectus in Africa, and then this population spread across the world, in a relatively short time, replacing Homo erectus as they went and at the same time, evolving to the regionally different populations of Homo sapiens that we see today.
